I would not advise trying to buy your sister anything to do with cameras or photography. Unfortunately there are far too many options, and you really do not know enough to make an informed purchase. It will likely only end in disaster. A Gift Card for a local Photography Store would be a much better choice. Then she will be able to get what she needs and wants.
