Seychelles or Thailand for a beach holiday?

If you go to thailand beaches watch out for the jet ski scam...you take out jet skis and if they even see you just bump them when you get back they show you all the old damage and ask you to pay like $900 just to get your passport back...if you refuse they call the cops who are in on it with them and then the price just goes up.
