How can I make money with poker ?

Is there any way to make money with poker? besides the tournaments and stuff inside like playing on tables because I always get unlucky and loose. Anything beside that? I see they have affiliate program so there must be some methods to make money ? I tried referring a couple of players but I didn't make anything. Please tell me some methods !!
