Belly button infection?

I got my belly button pierced a few months ago and it got infected. There is like a big soft lumpy thin beside it. I accidentally burst it one night and all this puss and blood came oozing out of it. I cleaned it and it kind formed a scab. But about ten minutes ago the scab came off and again puss and blood came oozing out. Will it go away if I keep cleaning it? Should I take the bar out?
